Financial literacy is a key competence for everyday life. It enables individuals to make informed decisions, manage their resources effectively, and plan for the future.
However, many people lack even basic knowledge of economic and financial concepts. This often leads to poor financial decisions, increased risk of debt, and long-term economic instability.
Vulnerable groups such as migrants, individuals with low educational backgrounds, and people with limited access to education are particularly affected.
The ICMMM project addresses these challenges by providing simple, accessible, and practical learning materials tailored to real-life needs.

Project MeetingKick-off Meeting in Berlin
The ICMMM project officially started with a successful kick-off meeting held in Berlin, Germany. The meeting brought together all project partners to establish a shared understanding of the project objectives, define responsibilities, and plan the upcoming activities. As part of the programme, partners also visited the Abgeordnetenhaus (Berlin Parliament).
Project Results
The project develops three main educational outputs designed to provide practical knowledge and easy access to financial education. All materials are adapted, tested, translated, and made freely available.
A structured training programme covering key financial topics such as saving, financing, insurance, retirement planning, and financial decision-making. The programme includes modular learning units, presentations, exercises, and practical examples for both learners and educators.
An interactive board game designed to introduce economic concepts in a simple and engaging way. The game promotes active learning, encourages discussion, and supports understanding through play-based learning methods.
A practical training programme focusing on everyday financial skills such as budgeting, managing bank accounts, and personal financial planning. The programme includes step-by-step guidance, checklists, and real-life examples.
Project Partners
The project is implemented by an international partnership of organisations from Germany, Italy, Austria, and Turkey. Each partner contributes expertise in education, training, and project development, ensuring high-quality results and effective dissemination.
