When you visit this website, technically necessary data is processed (IP address, date and time, page visited, browser). Purpose: secure operation of the website. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Downloads and images are delivered via Firebase Storage / Google Cloud Storage (Google Ireland Ltd.); your IP address is transmitted to this service.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your language choice (cookie NEXT_LOCALE) and your language and colour-theme settings (local storage of your browser) are technically necessary.

For anonymous reach measurement we store a random session ID in the local storage of your browser. We record the pages visited, the domain of the referring page, your country of origin and a hashed (salted) form of your IP address in our database (Google Firebase Firestore). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If your country cannot be determined from the request headers, your IP address is sent to the service ip-api.com to determine the country.

The contact page contains a map from Google Maps (Google Ireland Ltd.). When the page loads, your IP address is transmitted to Google.

If you write to us via the form, we process your name, your email address and your message in order to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). The message is stored in our database (Google Firebase Firestore) and read by the project team in the administration area of the website.

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can lodge a complaint with the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).
