Project Overview
The Erasmus+ project "I Can Manage My Money" (ICMMM) focuses on improving financial literacy among vulnerable groups.
In today's society, financial knowledge is essential for making informed decisions, managing personal resources, and ensuring economic stability. However, many individuals lack even basic understanding of financial and economic concepts.
The ICMMM project aims to address this gap by providing simple, practical, and accessible educational materials that support individuals in developing essential financial skills.
Project Objectives
The ICMMM project aims to achieve the following objectives:
Improve Financial Literacy
To support individuals in understanding essential financial concepts such as saving, budgeting, financing, and long-term planning.
Promote Social Inclusion
To provide accessible educational opportunities for vulnerable and disadvantaged groups.
Develop Practical Learning Materials
To create educational content that is easy to understand, relevant to everyday life, and applicable in different learning environments.
Ensure Multilingual Accessibility
To make all materials available in multiple languages (English, German, Turkish, Italian) to reach diverse target groups.
Support Lifelong Learning
To encourage individuals to continuously improve their financial knowledge and skills.
Project Results
The ICMMM project develops three main educational outputs. These outputs are adapted, tested, translated, and made freely available to ensure accessibility and usability.
A structured training programme covering key financial topics such as saving, financing, insurance, retirement planning, and financial decision-making. The programme includes modular learning units, presentations, exercises, and practical examples for both learners and educators.
In ProgressAn interactive board game designed to introduce economic concepts in a simple and engaging way. The game promotes active learning, encourages discussion, and supports understanding through play-based learning methods.
In ProgressA practical training programme focusing on everyday financial skills such as managing bank accounts, budgeting, and personal financial planning. The programme includes step-by-step guidance, checklists, and real-life examples.
